Social Responsibility

I personally believe one of the main problems that we are facing today in the fashion industry is working to find a way to help the textile industry workers have their rights protected. Especially in countries, such as Bangladesh and India, that constantly exploit them and underpays them to the point that what they make isn't considered a living wage thanks to the nature of the fast fashion industry. Supporting fair trade is one of the many solutions to this problem. While more expensive than that deal at a Forever 21, it supports more worker's rights and gives them the fair pay they deserve.
