Inattentional Blingdness

This video is a classic rendition on the topic of Inattentional Blindness. Which is something that occurs when one is completely engrossed in a task that other elements that happen around us is just about eliminated. This relates to design because we are often told to expect what we see around us as oppose to what we are actually seeing. In the video, we are asked to figure out who has murder the master of the house but what we don't actually is that props and even an actor has been changed during the duration of the scene taking place. As designers we need to be observers and unlimited to what is happening around us and change the design that doesn't fit right. Falling into the Inattentional Blindness trap could render our ability to see and possibly change our environment.
